1 Minute Jiu Jitsu Hack – The Electric Chair

In this 1-minute Jiu Jitsu hack video, we will dive into the highly effective and sneaky technique known as the Electric Chair. Whether you are a beginner or an advanced practitioner, this technique can be a game-changer in your Brazilian Jiu Jitsu arsenal.

The Electric Chair is a submission and sweep combination that primarily targets your opponent’s legs and hips. It is a fantastic option to use when you find yourself in the bottom half guard position. This technique can catch your opponent off guard and give you the upper hand in the match.

To execute the Electric Chair, you will first secure a deep underhook on the same side as your opponent’s trapped leg. This underhook is crucial for controlling their upper body and setting up the submission. Next, you will use your free arm to grab your opponent’s opposite ankle, trapping their leg and limiting their mobility.

Once you have a solid grip on their ankle, you will extend your legs and bridge your hips, forcing your opponent onto their side. This movement creates tremendous pressure on their trapped leg, making it difficult for them to defend the submission. From here, you can either finish the technique by applying pressure to their knee joint, causing immense pain and potentially forcing a tap, or you can transition to a powerful sweep.

The Electric Chair is not only effective for submissions but also for sweeping your opponent and gaining a dominant position. By utilizing your underhook and leveraging your hips, you can easily off-balance your opponent and sweep them onto their back. This sweep can put you in a perfect position to establish control and attack with a variety of submissions.

In this concise 1-minute video, we will break down the Electric Chair technique step by step, allowing you to quickly grasp the mechanics and details involved. Our experienced instructor will provide clear and concise instructions, ensuring that you can easily implement this technique into your own Jiu Jitsu game.

Whether you are looking to add a new tool to your submission arsenal or enhance your sweeping abilities, the Electric Chair is a technique you do not want to miss. Join us in this 1-minute Jiu Jitsu hack video and learn how to effectively apply the Electric Chair and take your Jiu Jitsu game to the next level!
